In foundation work, helical material is often used in the underpinning of an existing structure or building. Helicals can also be used as foundation piles for new construction or expansion. In bulkhead work, helical screw anchors are also an alternative to a traditional dead man system. They can be used to tie back a bulkhead or retaining wall. Helical screw anchors are adaptable to both all thread rod and dywidag rod.
Port Lumber Corp. stocks 1 ½” square shaft material and 2 ⅞” round shaft helical material. If you need a different size, just call and we can special order it for you.
